Using an article of my choice, The Consumption of Sharks by Ali Lauren. I began by trying to come up with various styles of titles that could effectively convey the emotions evoked by the article.

I played around with the word consumption as well as different colors and fonts before I eventually reached the final version of my title.

For the article itself, I decided I wanted to follow through with the red and blue color palette shown in the title. trying to keep to as few variations of color as possible for a more simplistic look.

Eventually, I was able to take the article into InDesign and began to fill in my spread.
